What do I need to use Sunnn+?
A FoxESS battery and inverter, and an Amber account. If you have both, you are ready. If you do not have a battery yet, talk to us about a system first.
Is it safe to let software control my battery?
Every command is checked and read back to confirm. Sunnn+ never discharges below the reserve you set and never exceeds your export limit. If anything is uncertain, it reverts to normal self-use. There is a kill switch and a per-site pause at all times.
How does Sunnn+ make me money?
On the wholesale market the price moves every few minutes and sometimes goes very high or even negative. Sunnn+ charges your battery when power is cheap and sells stored energy back when the export price spikes. You keep the difference.
What does it cost?
Nothing, if you buy your system through Sunnn: Sunnn+ is included free for as long as you're with us. If you already own a FoxESS battery from elsewhere, it's $20 a month or $200 a year, with the first 30 days free. Cancel any time; if you cancel or a payment lapses, trading stops and your battery returns to safe self-use.
Will it work with my retailer?
Sunnn+ supports Amber, a wholesale-priced retailer that exposes the live price data the engine needs. We do not support flat-rate retail plans, there is no spread to trade.
Are the earnings figures real?
Yes. We only ever show actual dollars, calculated from your real metered energy flows and the real prices you were charged or paid. No modelled or hypothetical numbers.
