Designed around your home
Roof, usage, bill and backup priorities are considered together before equipment is selected.
Most solar stops at bill reduction. We go further, with solar + batteries matched to your usage and set up for a wholesale retail plan, so stored power can be exported when it is worth the most. Savings are modelled and vary by home.

The Sunnn system
We design the panels, battery and wholesale controls together, so every part has a clear job from sunrise to the evening peak.
See how the market worksPremium solar covers the home first and fills the battery with the day’s cheapest energy.
An intelligent FoxESS battery holds that energy for the evening peak and keeps backup in reserve.
Wholesale-aware controls buy low, sell high and show what the system earned in real dollars.

From design to switch-on
The result is not a bundle of products. It is one energy system, designed around when your home uses power and what you want it to do.

Roof, usage, bill and backup priorities are considered together before equipment is selected.

Panels, inverter, battery and controls are planned to work together from the first day.

Use your own energy, keep backup in reserve and make the evening price work in your favour.

An indicative range, modelled on 2026 AU retail rates and recent NEM dispatch spreads. It is a starting point only. Your written proposal uses your real interval data, your roof and your local retailer’s tariffs, and will differ from the figures here.
Fox ESS CQ7 stacks, kWh. Modules are 6.96 kWh each.
Indicative estimate · NSW · 20.88kWh
An indicative Year 1 range, combining reduced grid purchases with modelled wholesale arbitrage. This is a preliminary estimate based on typical usage, not a quote.
Reduced grid purchases
$1,411–$3,094/yr
Wholesale arbitrage
$1,344–$2,240/yr
Your current bill is about $3,600 a year. A system does not remove a bill entirely: you still pay supply charges and buy power the system cannot cover. The top of this range sits above your current bill because arbitrage is export income earned on top of a reduced bill, not a further discount on it. It also assumes a battery this large suits a home of your usage, which the designer call would confirm.
This is a preliminary estimate, not a quote. It is based on typical usage for the bill size you selected. A site-specific proposal using your actual interval data, roof, shading and network tariff will differ, and may be higher or lower than the range shown.
This uses the same self-consumption model as the design software behind your written proposal. It assumes a 10 kW solar system paired with a 20.88 kWh battery, and modelled usage of about 9,407 kWh a year once supply charges are removed from the bill you entered. The range spans a night-heavy household at the low end to a day-heavy one at the high end, which is the biggest single driver of how much of your own solar you actually use. Savings from self-use can never exceed what you spend on energy.
Wholesale arbitrage requires a wholesale-passthrough retail plan (such as Amber or Localvolts); on such a plan your import price is also exposed to the spot price. Arbitrage figures are modelled from AEMO 5-minute dispatch data for December 2024 to November 2025, after charging cost and round-trip loss, and assume a 10 kW inverter.
Figures are modelled estimates, not guarantees. They exclude system cost, finance, maintenance, inverter replacement and battery degradation over time. Sunnn is not an electricity retailer and does not set market or retail prices.

“Got there in the end. Everything seemed to get in the way but James worked it out. He seems very knowledgeable and quick with a response or a fix. Ready to play at the power supply game now. With my existing solar system I was averaging costs of $120 per month, mostly connection fee. Now I'm excited to see I'm getting paid to supply power to the grid and getting free electricity.”

“I purchased a 42kw battery from Sunnn, they were a pleasure to deal with and offered the best deal in the market. With the three hours of free energy per day, i can virtually fully charge the battery and fulfill all my homes power requirements... incredible.”
